Adult Recreation at the CRA offers something for everyone—whether you’re looking to stay active, meet new people, or try something new. Wednesday 12:30pm-2pm

Join us and learn to play table tennis at the CRA, offered every Wednesday from 12:30 PM to 2 PM. This is a drop-in program open to players of all levels, whether you’re a seasoned pro or just picking up a paddle for the first time. It’s a great way to get moving, challenge yourself, and enjoy some friendly competition in a relaxed, social setting. Come solo or bring a friend—everyone is welcome at the table.

A General Membership or Daily Use Pass is required.

Learn to Play Pickleball

Wednesday: 2:00pm – 4:00pm

Just getting started?  We run instruction and drills during this session.

We use SignUpGenius to manage the number of players for each session, ensuring everyone gets enough playing time. Once you have purchased your membership please contact our Fitness Manager to request access.

You may drop in, but to ensure a spot, we recommend you sign up.

Lunch Time Hoops

Lunchtime Hoops is a year-round, drop-in basketball program held every Tuesday and Thursday from 12–2 PM at the CRA. It’s the perfect midday break for adults who want to stay active, connect with others, and enjoy some friendly, fast-paced competition. Whether you’re a regular or just stopping by when your schedule allows, Lunchtime Hoops offers a welcoming and energetic atmosphere for players of all skill levels. No registration needed—just show up, lace up, and hit the court.

A General Membership or Daily Use Pass is required.

Looking to shoot hoops, stay active, or just have some space to move? Our Open Gym time at the Community House gives members, unstructured accesses to enjoy the gymnasium. Whether you’re playing pick-up basketball or working on your fitness, it’s a great way to stay engaged and active in a welcoming community space.

Pickleball

Pickleball is a fun and fast-growing sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and ping-pong. Played on a smaller court with a paddle and a lightweight ball, it’s easy to learn and great for all ages and skill levels.

The CRA offers an established pickleball program designed to bring players together for fun, fitness, and community. Whether you’re new to the game or a seasoned player, you’ll love the camaraderie and excitement.

Cornhole

Cornhole is quickly becoming a favorite at the CRA—and for good reason! This laid-back, social game is easy to learn and fun for everyone, making it a great addition to our adult programs. While there’s currently no formal schedule, we offer casual play opportunities and are exploring interest for organized times or leagues. Whether you’re a seasoned player or just looking to try something new, cornhole at the CRA is a great way to relax, connect with others, and enjoy some friendly competition. Bud Hall Co-ed Softball League

This league runs from late June to early August, offering a fun, social, and competitive experience for adults. Whether you’re looking to stay active or enjoy friendly competition, this league brings together players of all skill levels for exciting weekly games. Teams compete in a co-ed format with a playoff concluding the season. For registration details contact the CRA.

Edward “Bud” Hall III was a devoted supporter of the CRA Adult Softball League, playing a key role in fostering the league’s success and helping to provide a fun and enjoyable program for adults in the community. Following his untimely passing in 1999, the CRA Adult Co-ed Softball League was named in his honor as a tribute to his dedication. His legacy continues to bring the community together through the game he loved!
