WHY IT MATTERS
Help us reach our goal of raising $60,000 to ensure that cost is never a barrier to participation in CRA youth programs. From after-school enrichment and summer camps to sports leagues and childcare, your generosity directly expands access for local families.
In 2025, the CRA provided $46,000 in financial assistance, helping families access programs that support learning, recreation, and community connection.

Celebrating Community Leadership
Each year, we recognize those who embody service, dedication, and community pride. Reminding us what is possible when individuals invest in their community.
Gib Kittredge Memorial Award – The CRA’s highest honor, presented to an individual or organization who demonstrates extraordinary commitment to the Central Berkshire community.
John Kittredge Community Support Award – Recognizes behind-the-scenes leaders whose steady support sustains the CRA year after year.
W. Murray Crane Community Service Award – Honors exceptional volunteerism and civic responsibility.
Norman “Pop” Smith Youth of the Year Award – Celebrates a young person who exemplifies leadership, character, and community involvement.

Nominations are accepted through December 31st and need only be submitted once. Individuals not selected remain under consideration for future years.
