It takes hundreds of dedicated volunteers and the generosity of people like you to make everything we do at the CRA possible. Your support helps us maintain our aging facilities, provide high-quality programs for all ages, and ensure that every everyone has access to many necessary programs regardless of their or their family’s financial situation.

Dan McMahon Scholarship Fund

We are excited to introduce the Dan McMahon Scholarship Fund, which ensures that children of all backgrounds can participate in CRA programs. We have no idea how many hours Dan McMahon spent at the DYC over the past 33 years! Whether it was teaching St. Agnes gym classes, coaching basketball, playing Dodgeball in the drop-in program or a leaders club meeting! He kept them busy, active, and out of trouble… while also watching closely for the one who might need a little extra lift. Whether it was a tough day, a rough week, or a disappointing season, he took them under his wing and made sure they would be okay.

That was Dan’s MO…. He was always there for OUR kids.

Although Dan has retired, his legacy continues on through the newly created Dan McMahon Scholarship Fund. This fund helps ensure that every child has the opportunity to participate in CRA programs, from Summer Camp to youth sports leagues. To honor Dan’s impact, Pat Duquette has generously issued a $7,500 challenge. We’ve already raised $11,000 but we still need your help to reach the goal.
