Thanksgiving Break Camp
Give your child a fun, safe, and educational experience during Thanksgiving break! Located in the beautiful Berkshires of Western Massachusetts, our camp offers hands-on activities and engaging programs for children Kindergarten through 5th grade. Kids from across Berkshire County can explore new hobbies, make friends, and enjoy a youth-enriching environment while school is out.

Summer DYC Day Camp
The CRA Summer DYC Day Camp is designed to provide campers with an enjoyable experience that they will long remember and cherish. Through a variety of activities, children will gain new skills, build self-confidence, and make lasting friendships. This summer camp offers a mix of fun and engaging experiences, including swimming, educational games, hiking, sports, arts and crafts, and music. It’s an ideal opportunity for kids to explore their interests and grow both socially and personally.
Summer Sports Clinics & Specialty Workshops
Our specialty summer camps in Berkshire County offer unique opportunities for children to explore their passions, from sports clinics to creative workshops. Located in the Central Berkshires, these camps foster creativity, teamwork, and personal growth, providing a safe environment for kids to specialize in activities they love.
The CRA provides exciting half-day sports clinics and workshops that focus on both sports and enrichment. You can add on a half day of DYC Camp to make it an all-day summer camp.
School Year Mini & Vacation Camps
On most days when kids are not in school, the CRA offers “Mini” Camp at the Dalton Youth Center, providing a fun and engaging way for kids to stay active during breaks. The camp operates on Central Berkshire’s In-Service days, school vacation weeks, and Veterans Day.
It offers a variety of exciting activities to keep kids entertained and engaged, such as hikes, movies, bowling, trips, and gym games. Mini Camp provides a safe and enjoyable environment where children can make new friends, develop new interests, and stay active while taking a break from their studies.
School Year Snowy Day Camps
Never miss work again due to snow days! The CRA offers a convenient snow day camp at the DYC when schools close due to inclement weather. Available for children ages 5-12, this camp provides a safe and enjoyable place for kids while parents work.
Activities include indoor games, arts and crafts, movies, and more to keep children entertained and active during unexpected school closures. With experienced staff on hand, parents can feel confident knowing their children are in good hands, having fun and making the most of their snow day while staying safe and engaged.

For full day camps please bring a lunch and beverage.
For 1/2 day summer specialty camps please bring a snack and a water bottle.
There will be an opportunity to swim or play in sprinklers during Summer Day Camp.
There will not be an opportunity to swim at our half day specialty camps and clinics.
A water bottle to stay hydrated.
Sunscreen and a hat for sun protection.
Comfortable clothing and shoes suitable for physical activities.
For full-day camp, bring a swimsuit and towel, lunch, and a beverage.

Many camps have indoor activities planned for bad weather. However, some outdoor camps may have alternate plans or a flexible schedule to accommodate changes in weather.
Camps follow strict safety protocols, including trained staff in first aid and CPR, background checks for all staff, and emergency preparedness plans. Be sure to ask the camp about their specific safety measures.
Be sure to inform the camp of any medical conditions, allergies, or special needs your child may have during the registration process. Most camps will work with parents to ensure proper care is provided.
All campers submit a completed Massachusetts State Health form which informs camp staff about a child’s specific medical condition or allergy.
Summer DYC Day Camp full-day camps run from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm, but times can vary depending on the camp. Be sure to check the specific camp schedule.
Day Camp accepts children going into kindergarten thru 7th grade as of the fall.
Our specialty clinics’ age requirements vary based on the specific clinic. There are clinics open to children going into kindergarten through12th grade as of the fall.

All campers must register through the CRA catalog and provide a completed Health form and immunization records. Please contact the CRA with any questions.
