Basketball
BASKETBALL
This league is for girls in grades 1 and 2. No score or standings kept. Play on mini hoops at the DYC. Practices/games held on Saturday afternoons at the DYC.
Pee Wee Boys
This league is for boys in grades 3 and 4. The score will be kept for each game; however, no standings or play offs in the league. Play four 8 minute quarters. Games will be played on Saturday mornings or early afternoons. There will be an occasional weekday game. Games will be at the CRA. Officials are provided for this league.
Midget Boys
This league is for boys in grades 5 and 6. Score and standings are kept. Play four 8 minute quarters. Officials are provided. Teams will occasionally have games during the week and on Saturday morning. Games will be at the CRA and Nessacus Middle School.
Midget Girls
This league is for girls in grades 3, 4 and 5. Score and standings are kept. Play four 8 minute quarters and officials are provided. Games will be on Monday nights and occasionally Saturday. Games will be played at the Nessacus.
Junior Boys
This league is for boys in grades 7 and 8. Score and standings are kept. Play four 8 minute quarters and officials are provided. Games will be played Thursday nights and Saturdays.
Junior Girls
This league is for girls in grades 6, 7 and 8. Score and standings are kept. Play four 8 minute quarters and officials are provided. Games will be on Wednesday nights and occasionally Saturday.
Duquette League
Signups will take place after Thanksgiving and teams will be picked after December 1st.
This league is for boys and girls grades 9-12. Score and standings are kept. Games will be on Monday nights.
Travel Teams
The CRA sponsors travel basketball teams in the following age groups: Grades 3 & 4; Grades 5 & 6; and Grades 7 & 8.
Tryouts for these teams will be announced by CBRSD schools and on our website/social media.
In order for a player to be eligible for the travel team, they must reside or go to school in the CBRSD and they must play in the CRA house league program. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Dustin Belcher at the CRA (684-0260) for more information.
Drafts for all leagues will take place in the middle of November.
Coaches will call the players and notify them of the teams they are on.
If you have not heard from a coach by November 23rd please notify the league director.
We will do our best to honor any special request, but may not be able to due to the high volume of requests.
