May Day Races

Baseball Parade & Ceremony

Get ready to swing into the season with one of the most exciting days in local baseball! Our Opening Day Parade and Ceremony brings together multiple divisions to celebrate the start of a brand-new season. After the parade, join us at the field for a special ceremony honoring our players, coaches, and community supporters. It’s a spirited kickoff to months of great baseball, camaraderie, and fun—see you there!

Softball Parade & Ceremony

*UPDATE* Due to field conditions from last night’s rain, today’s softball parade and games have been canceled. The softball fields currently have too much standing water, and we are unable to make them playable in time for today’s events.

The CRA Softball Opening Day Parade and Ceremony brings players, families, and fans together to celebrate the start of a brand-new season. April Break Day Camp

Looking for a fun and active way to spend April break? Join us for our April Break Vacation Week Camp! This exciting program offers a variety of games, activities, and creative projects to keep participants engaged all week long.

Kick off the CRA season by joining us for the Gib Kittredge Auction & Award Ceremony—a night to celebrate the community members who make our programs possible. Creative Crossroads: Seeing Like an Artist

Explore your creativity and learn to see the world through an artist’s lens in this engaging, hands-on program for middle school students. Throughout the course, participants will build core drawing skills, experiment with artistic techniques, and gain inspiration from a variety of artistic movements.

By the end of the program, each student will leave with a personalized drawing portfolio and the confidence to express their own unique style.

Swim Lesson Sign Ups

Make a splash this spring! CRA Spring Swim Lessons are now open for registration, offering programs for all ages and skill levels. Lessons focus on water safety, stroke development, and building confidence in the pool.

Tryouts for CRA’s Spring Travel Soccer teams will be held this month at Nessacus Regional Middle School. Teams compete in the Berkshire County Youth Soccer League (BCYSL). Tryouts are open to players who live in or attend school in the Central Berkshire Regional School District (CBRSD). Players must attend at least one tryout, and no advance registration is required.

Celebrate the start of the holiday season with the CRA at our annual Light Up the Holidays event! Join us on Friday, December 6th for a festive evening in front of the CRA as we light the town tree at 8:00 PM. This free, family-friendly event is open to all and filled with holiday cheer, music, and community spirit.

Halloween Walk

Wear your costume and trick-or-treat across the CRA campus! The walk starts at the DYC, continues to Mill and Main, then to the Community House, and ends on the Memorial Lawn. Geared toward youth Pre-K through 5th grade, but everyone is welcome to enjoy this free, community-focused event.

Travel Baseball Tryouts

Calling all baseball players! The CRA Travel Baseball Tryouts are here, and we’re looking for dedicated athletes ready to take their game to the next level. Whether you’re new to travel ball or looking to continue your journey, these tryouts are the perfect opportunity to showcase your skills and join a competitive team. Don’t miss your chance to be part of the action this season!

Ed Szlats Memorial Basketball Tournament

The 17th Annual Jim Horth Memorial Boys Basketball Tournament! This year’s tournament features 10 teams competing in a pool play format. Games will be played at Nessacus Middle School.

We would like to thank all the coaches who volunteer their time for the kids to play; the Central Berkshire Regional School District for the use of their excellent facilities; and all the officials, scorekeepers and parents who pitch in to help make the tournament a success.

Swim-a-thon

Join us for an epic Swim-a-Thon, where fun meets fitness and every stroke counts! Whether you’re an
experienced swimmer or just looking for a fun challenge, this event is for YOU!

Can you help us?
Our swimming pool is expensive to operate and our membership and class fees only cover a portion of the costs. To help make up the difference, we will be conducting a swim-a-thon fundraiser and would love your help.

Set yourself a goal: Number of laps, time in the pool… Be creative! Then get sponsors and start swimming.
You can do this anytime during the month of February!
