Light up the Holidays!:  Mark your Calendar...December 12th is the date Dalton lights up the holidays.  Sample special treats offered by our local businesses as you walk down Main St. toward  The Dalton CRA. Santa will be waiting!  Begins at 5:00pm.    Click here for calendar.

Visit from Santa:  Saturday December 19th from 9:00AM-10:30AM Santa joins us in the Dalton CRA gymnasium. The DYC Leaders Club sponsors this event. Ages 3 and up will be able to join Santa. Coloring books and crayons donated generously by the Dalton Benefit Association. Donations accepted. Pre-register at the CRA by December 16th.  Marty Plankey will be playing music for the event, this program is supported in part by a grant from the Dalton Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency.  Click here for calendar.

Santa Christmas Eve Visits - With help from some of our very generous volunteers, the Dalton CRA offers visits from Santa on Christmas Eve to Dalton residents who are CRA members.   In order to have Santa visit call the CRA beginning December 1st at 9:00am to arrange the visit.  Santa is very busy on Christmas Eve so spots fill up quickly.  Visits scheduled on a first come first serve basis.  Santa usually visits between 6pm and 8pm.  Donations accepted.

 Easter Egg Hunt
Every year, on the Saturday before Easter at the CRA outside on the CRA Memorial Lawn or the CRA gym at 1 pm. Boys and Girls Pre – School thru grade 5 may participate. There will also be a special visit from the Easter bunny. Candy generously donated by the Benefit Association.   Click here for calendar.

Halloween

Little Goblins Fun House - Held at the DYC on the Sunday before Halloween from 4:00pm to 6:00pm.  There will be friendly super heroes and cartoon characters to greet the children.  Appropriate for children up to age 6.  This is a free event thanks to the generosity of The Dalton Benefit Association's donation of candy.  Click here for calendar

Halloween Parade and Costume Show-Off - The annual parade and costume show has become a long standing tradition in the town.  Kids, parade you costume from the Old Nessacus on Glennon Ave.  We will march up Main St to the CRA.  Your name will be announced as you parade your costume down the stage.  Everyone will receive a grab bag and be decorated as winners.  Candy generously donated by the Dalton Benefit Association.  Click here for calendar

Parents Night Out - New Saturday night Program at the CRA!  Parents, would you like to enjoy a night out to dinner or a movie?  We will watch the kids at the CRA and provide snacks, a movie, fun games and swimming.  Open to children in Kindergarten through grade 5.  Must be a CRA member!  Cost $25/ child.    Check to Calendar to see the dates it will be held!
