Big Buddies Program
The Dalton CRA runs a Big Buddy Program for children of CBRSD who could use a Big Buddy in their lives. Big Buddies are high school or college students from our leaders program who we match with a Little Buddy. We do group activities (usually on Sunday’s) and special events. Program begins in November. Program Grants
Special Needs Sports – The Dalton CRA Presents the 2008 Home Run Fall Baseball for children of Berkshire County with a diagnosed developmental disability Grades K-12. Sign ups will run July 25th to August 22. Games will be on Saturday’s at Pinegrove Park in Dalton between 4pm and 7pm beginning September 13th, 7 weeks of games, ends October 25th. The goal of the CRA Fall Home Run Baseball is to offer a safe, fun, recreational program for the children. The games will be coaches’ pitch, no scores or league standings will be kept. Our hope is to have the kids enjoy the game, make new friends, participate and have fun in a positive atmosphere. This program is made possible by a grant from Berkshire Life. Partnering with Rotary - Gifts for needy families at Christmas
Each year the Dalton Rotary Club and the CRA team up to give gifts to needy families at Christmas time. We also provide them with a meal. For more information please contact the CRA.
