The Dalton CRA strives to provide the community with ample care for our children when school lets out.  The after school hours are prime time for bored children to find trouble.  We make it our priority to find alternatives.  Whatever the program, we aim to provide a safe, fun atmosphere for the children.

 

Kids Club
Kids Club is a CRA sponsored childcare program specifically for Craneville Elementary children.  The program runs Monday-Friday 3pm-5:30pm.  This is a very popular program and has filled all available spots for 2008/2009 (wait list available).  The staff supervises the children in a wide variey of activities, as well as daily homework.

Dalton Youth Center Drop in Program
The Dalton Youth Center will continue to open at 2:30pm for kids to come and just hang out in a safe but unstructured environment.  There are pool tables, board games and a gymnasium available for use to let off steam from a grueling day of learning.  There is adult supervision on premises.
 
Tutoring – DYC Tutoring Program
The CRA offers free tutoring for children grades 1-8 on Mondays and Wednesdays at the DYC from 3:30-5 pm. Please call the CRA or DYC in advance to register. Begins September 23rd. Call Dan McMahon for more information.
